Our principal financial and business advisors have worked in the financial arena for collectively 65 years. They have been instrumental in orchestrating over $500 million in capital for clients throughout the United States in many industries.

John F. Trotter II 
Mr. Trotter is a co-founding Principal of Brockson Capital Partners. Mr. Trotter has a comprehensive background that includes operations, principal investing and investment banking advisory. Mergers and Acquisitions Magazine named him the 21 Century man of the year in 2001 for technology. His credentials include over $400 million in private investment transactions and presiding over four manufacturing companies. In 2007 he led the completion selling twelve businesses. In 2008 he completed the largest capital raise in microwave water filtration in the US. Additionally, he founded two technology start-ups that grew into multi-million dollar concerns in less than five years, with successful exits that generated substantial returns to shareholders.

Prior to founding BCP, Mr. Trotter was associated with R D Capital in New York. He originated and completed nine acquisitions with R D Capital management as with an aggregate transaction value of $170MM. He is a specialist in the manufacturing and technology arenas, particularly computer hardware, semiconductors and MEMs. Mr. Trotter received a MM degree from the Arizona State University, Business (BA) and Psychology (BS) degrees from Benedictine College.

Roger Booth 
Mr. Booth is an Associate of BCP and Trotter Brockson, LLC, providing the firm with business development, transaction screening and due diligence of prospective clients. Mr. Booth comes to BCP from Synergy Promotional Products, where he acted as Chief Executive Officer. He was responsible for conducting all operations including acquisition, and locating potential business candidates, and due diligence. His operation experiences in Sales Management and profitability allowed the firm to become a national player when merged. In addition, Mr. Booth played an integral role in developing and implementing various valuation analyses for Brockson Capital. He heads development for Trotter Brockson the business brokerage arm of Brockson Capital.

Gina Gomez 
Ms. Gomez is an Associate in BCP. She is responsible for strategically placing investments and raising capital for clients with direct liaison with private equity and lenders throughout the globe. Her organizational and analysis skills and 15 years of experience provide Brockson and Trotter Brockson depth in the financing of growth businesses. Gina has a series 7 and 66 license. She earned her degree from Cornell University in Business Administration.

Meilee Smythe 
Ms. Smythe is a Partner with Brockson Capital and focuses on the firm's investment strategy and investment banking execution activities. She has been a leading figure in the financial community for the past twenty years through several roles, most recently as Senior Vice President and Treasurer for FINOVA, a $13 billion NYSE financial services company. During her thirteen-year tenure, she raised over $12 billion of debt and $500 million in equity in the public capital markets in the US, Europe and Japan.

Prior to FINOVA, Ms. Smythe spent eight years with Continental Illinois National Bank (now NationsBank) as a Vice President of corporate lending in the Southwest. She was responsible for sourcing, underwriting and negotiating corporate finance transactions involving a multitude of industries with a loan portfolio of over $750 million. Ms. Smythe received her MBA in Finance from the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles in 1981 and her BA in Economics and Biochemistry from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1979.

Christopher G. Whitson 
Mr. Whitson is a Partner in BCP and provides investment origination activities and over 28 years of valuable operational expertise to portfolio companies. Mr. Whitson has a solid background in starting, operating and successfully exiting manufacturing and distribution businesses. He has successfully raised over $100M and has had returns of greater than 49%. Mr. Whitson owned and operated a successful manufacturing and distribution company, which he sold to a financial buyer as part of a consolidation strategy. Previously, Mr. Whitson was President and owner of a manufacturing company with multiple manufacturing and distribution locations in the Western US. His investment background also includes retail and real estate ventures. Mr. Whitson received his business degree (BBA) from the University of New Mexico.
